A Letter to Our Brides and Supporters

To our Brides for Justice and Generous Supporters,

Thank you—not just for your support, but for what you have made possible.

Because of you, this work is happening in real time. I recently returned from Honolulu, where I spent time with the Ho‘ōla Nā Pua team and residents of Pearl Haven, a girls refuge. to celebrate five years of service. They are grateful for our support, and have asked that we continue to raise awareness.

What I witnessed was powerful—young women actively rebuilding their lives through education, life skills, and creative therapies. I saw safety. I saw dignity. I saw restoration beginning. And I saw you in it. Your support through Unveil It Bridal Veils and your generosity as donors through The Unveil It Fund is part of the transformations taking place.. You are not just supporters—you are part of the work. You are allies. You are our heroes.

While there, I participated in cyber security training focused on intervention and prevention. Exciting things are happening in that space, and it will lead to more children being protcted and rescued. I also attended a benefit dinner supporting this mission. There I hand delivered our gift. IT was an incredible evening.

As I reflect, I am reminded of the first survivor I ever met—newly freed and pregnant—who forever changed my life. She and other survivors I have walked alongside are the reason Unveil It Bridal Veils exists, and why your support matters so deeply.
